H!-B laid off

Hi guys,

Would like some clarifications on H1-B and getting laid off.

I was laid off way back in 2001 october 30th. I got a new H1 from a new company in december. The exact application date for new H1 from the new company was december 17th 2001. I am currently getting ready to apply for I-485..just was wondering how this would effect my 485 application.

Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated.

If you received a new I-94 when the H-1petition was approved, or you have left the US and re-entered since then, you'll be fine.
