Hello all,

I will be finishing my 6 years h-1 time in dec 2004. My wife joined me on h-4 visa in October 2002. She will be moving to h-1 visa sometime in november 2004. How much time will she have on her h-1? Will she have time only till dec 2004 or will it be 4years (as she stayed on h-4 for 2 years).

Please advice appropriately.

But in that you can't stay after Dec 2004 (time when you finish your six year).

I am also in same situation only difference is my wife has H1 visa.

But I have to leave this county after finishing my 6 yrs on H1 (never applied for GC).

Do you think you can get H4 after 6 yrs on H1 (never applied for GC)?

see if any employer can provide you an approved labor so you can immediately file for 140 and AOS and live here.

Mind that you cannot use the remaining 4 yrs. (as per meow) for yourself on H-4
