H-4 Revalidation

Hi Folks

I am an H4 visa holder. My husbands H1B visa is expiring in September. His visa is not stamped. He has just got approved extension until September. I want to travel to India, so, is it advisable to go to Vancouver and get my visa stamped without my husband accompanying me over there. Please advise as early as possible.

--do you have valid H4 visa stamp? till what date? or stamp expired
My husbands H1B visa is expiring in September. His visa is not stamped. He has just got approved extension until September.
--- your spouse employer filed H1 extension of your spouse. did you file H4 extension with form I-539? till what date your I-94 is valid
I want to travel to India, so, is it advisable to go to Vancouver and get my visa stamped without my husband accompanying me over there.
----- to be honest I am not clear on your situation I dont know if your I-94 expired or you also got H4 extension with your spouse H1 extension(you get H4 extension if YOU file for it)
If you go to Vancouver and Visa is rejected in Canada then you cant enter US from Canada you need to go directly to India from Canada
--- If your I-94 is valid and you want to go out of US to your home country Before your I-94 expire then you can get H4 visa stamp based on your spouse H1 approval notice(it is not must that your spouse should have H1 stamp)
Please advise as early as possible.

I am on the same boat

My husband on H1 stamped for Company A and I am on H4 stamped on Company B(Since my husband joined Company B when I stamped H4) at Kolkotta. Visa stamps have expired for both and we both got extension I797/I94 till July 2006 for Company B.

Per website of Kolkotta consulate if the principal applicant(H1 holder) is in US while stamping H4 I have to produce copy of valid visa of principal applicant.

Can I go alone for H4 stamping at Kolkotta ? What is valid visa here ? Is it the I797 or Valid visa stamp ?
