H-1B Visa appointment on Jan. 05, 2007 at Nogales

Hi folks,

I have a H-1B appointment on Jan. 05, 2007 at Nogales. I would like to see if there are more folks for the same day, so we all can group together and provide logistics to each other.

I will probably be flying in into Tucsan airport if not Phoenix and drive down there. I would some info as well, as where to get the money drafts and all that if someone has done any research.

I am planning to go for visa in Jan to the same place. Can i get an appointment in Jan? Are they appointments available in jan?

Yes, When I looked last, there were many appointments available for Jan. 2007. I made my appointment couple of weeks ago.

I have an appointment for Jan 05, 07 at Nogales as well. I am flying in to Tuscan on Jan4th. Nice to go along with people who have appt. on the same day!

H1 Validation done in Nogales

I attended for H1 revalidation in mexico on 27th of Dec 06 with my wife.
It was pretty simple, entrace, security clearence is common if you
refer earlier threads. Once reaching Visa Officer,
VO: Good Morning, can I have your passport and DS forms..
I gave all, and wife too
VO: So you are here for visa revalidation
me: Yes Mam
VO: Can I see your resume.
me: Yes & gave( I took printouts before going to consulate)(DONT FORGET TO TAKE IT WITH YOU)
VO: She looked into it and checked something in computer..
VO: What is you company do
me: Software Development & Consulting Services
VO: Who are the Clients
Me: XYZ(She looked into my resume and verified.
VO: Have you ever arrested in US..
me: NO
VO: to my wife: what you do
mw: housewife
VO: whats your educational qulaification
my :PG
VO: I approved your visa, tomorrow afternoon you ll get
me: Is there any chance to get it today?
Vo, well, come and check it out in the reception..
me: Thanks

7 Indias are with us, and everyone got visas, and at the time of collecting visa
I got my passport with Visa, but they asked me to come next day to collect my visa.
So be prepared to stay there for one day..in case of any delays.
If you are working in any water utility, micro chip, environmental related company, they are asking for FBI clearence which takes about 4-12 weeks.
Make sure before going, and if you attend in india for above said issues..I think there will be no problem.
