H-1B transfer -- URGENT.

Hi,
Iam working on the H-1B from company A. Applied for a transfer to Company B in February, but working with Company A only. Decided to join B only after the H-1B is approved. But urgently I had to go to India due to a tragedy in family. Didn\'t have time to look my emails. Just yesterday I returned to USA on my H-1B visa with Company A. Today when I saw my emails I saw that my H-1B transfer from A to B is done on March 18th.
Is there a problem now?? Can I still go ahead with joining Company B as an employee?? Heard from someone that my H-1B with Company B won\'t be valid anymore as I reentered with Company A\'s H-1B visa???

Please advice..

Quick fix for superceded I94.

Try in this order:
1.try to file I102 and get a new I94 from the local INS/ sub office or district office using the new I797.
2.you can go to canada/mexico and get a new stamp and get a new I94 after entering.

To be on the safer side, you need a new H1 stamp as well as a new I94 with the new company mentioned as employer.

No Title

But I hope he has got the new I-94 with his new Company B H1b approval notice attached right side at botom, and he can continue to work with company B with out any problem.
You DO NOT NEED NEW VISA WITH NEW COMPANY NAME, it is law you should get new sticker when A company Visa expires in your passport.
No need for new Visa stamp if you have A company visa valid for than 6 months if it is less than 6 months you can get it revalidated in US, through deparrtment of state.

I94 at POE superseded the new H1 I94...

that is why (s)he has to fix it.

Gumnam: you are prescribing for a case where travel did not take place during the transition. (i.e. either the candidate was in US during approval or outside US with the new I797 in hand while crossing POE)
