H-1B Transfer issue and out of status question

I would appreciate if someone can answer this.

I have been employed with company A and transfered my H-1B to Company B. H-1B transfer was approved and start date on H-1B is 20 July.

I resigned company A on 21(friday) and joined company B on 24th(Monday)

Was I out of status on 22nd, 23rd.?

Will this affect Green card filing in future.

Hello GA,

You are perfectly fine, thats the the way it goes. No out of status when it is weekend/vacation time. You are joining the new company on the next working/business day.
