H-1b Transfer and Extension: Premium Processing

Hi,

I am considering a job change and was wondering if anyone has recent experience with premium transfer and extension? Should I expect 15 days?


My history:

1998 - F1 + OPT
2003-2006 - J-1
Received home country waiver
H-1 switch in the same job, approved until 2009
extension until 10/2012

EB3 applied,
I-140 PD June 2009.

Hoping to extend H-1b for another three years for 2014.

I appreciate some feedback.

Hi,

----------------------20 or 25 days from the date Transfer petition was received by USCIS Or if USCIS sends RFE then count 20-25 days again from the date the RFE was received by USCIS.
** To be safe join the new employer only AFTER H1 petitions gets approved and you get approval notice in your hand with I-94 attached.

---- if you join new employer on H1 then the employer who filed I-140 May revoke your I-140 and you may have to start the GC process again with new Employer.

Yes, I am aware of starting the EB3 application again. However, I can keep the original PD date regardless of the previous employer's withdrawal of the I-140.

----- You can keep the PD of approved I-140. you will need copy of I-140 approval notice and when the second I-140 is filed then lawyer should attach the copy of I-140 approval notice and make a request to recapture the early PD
