Can any one explain the formalities involved in the process of filing an H-1B to L-2 (with EAD option) transfer petition ?
What would be the effective date of the L-2 as far as maintaining the valid status is concerned ? meaning if I leave my current company soon after filing a petition for L-2, will that be ok as far as the valid status is concerned ?
