My H-1 visa stamp expires in March, 2005 while the H-1 status expires
in September, 2005 (this is the date on I-94 & I-797). The problem is,
I want to be able to travel in the period March-September 2005. What
would be the best way to accomplish this?
If I go to an embassy abroad before March 2005 and before the
extension of the status - will they issue me a visa stamp for the
period March-Sep 2005?
So, what would you suggest, i want to be able to re-enter USA without
problems after March 2005. Of course, I will file for extension as
early as possible and then re-apply for visa somewhere, but still I'd
like to maintain a valid visa stamp in my passport all the time..
