Hi,

I sent my passport with all necessary docs to SL back in Aug through fedex and I did not receive any confirmation from SL so I do not know what my SL date is. Does everybody receives some acknowledgement from them about receipt of your passport which also has the SL date??

Please let me know as I am worried if my Passport reached them safely.

----- No acknowledgement is sent; you can track with your FedEx receipt

for your reply. This gives me some solace. I'll check my fedex receipt in the evening. I just got a little worried as I saw people getting back passports who sent theirs at the same timeframe as mine ans were talking about these SL and DC dates.

Hi,

I had sent my passport to SL for revalidation. I just tracked it through Fedex and found that it had reached. It normally takes 3 months for them to return your passport with Visa.

You need not worry about that.

For peace of mind, you should call up the DOS, their phone number is 202-663-1225 press 1 and 0.

Have you passport no & they will tell you when your passport was received by the office in DC.
