What are the documents for getting the H-1B revalidation stamping in chennai? i hear it is as good as getting a fresh H-1B, does that mean photos of current work place etc is required (as mentioned in the chennai consulate website)?

For stamping of visa at a consulate subsequent to your H-1B extension:
you need to carry I-129 application, H-supplement, duly certified lca, I-129W, letter from company requesting the consulate to issue you a visa, your most recent paystubs (atleast 2 to 3), a picture for stamping, your passport and the current fee. These documents should do.
 
Can the process be done thru drop box?

I will be going to hyderabad. I heard there is a TTS service in hyd where I can drop my docs and they will send it to Consulate. Is that true? Pls share any experiences.

i\'ve been reading in a couple of places about discussion on "Certified" documents...

When you say LCA must be certified, what exactly do you mean? should the lawyer have signed a photocopy saying it is a photocopy of the original?

please clarify..
