h-1b problem

I did my maters here and after that i went for premium processing as i got some problems with my opt.i applied for my h-1 on june 15th and i got a query in the last week of june asking for my contract and i gave my lawyer the contract.

till now there is no reply from the BCIS when i call my lawyer he doesn't call me back .

so can any one please let me know what is happening in my case and what should i do.

i am in deep deep trouble as got a contract and he is asking for h-1 b card!!!!!!!!

--- Go to lawyer office ask your all the papers back and fire him, if he is company hired lawyer then your employer should contact him
so can any one please let me know what is happening in my case and what should i do.
--- only your lawyer or employer can update you. Do you got H1 filing receipt ? ask the employer he may have received or it may be with lawyer, your employer can speak to NCSC or can send an email to your service center ( they have Email ID for premium processing)

-- H1B is not a CARD it is just piece of paper approved by BCIS

Hi ginnu,

I have the case # i mean the receipt #.
I hired the lawyer.
comming to the OPT issue.i applied for 6 months and i git for only 2 months and to file for an extension i had to get a new I-20 as per the new rules of SEVIS,which might take 1-2 months .so all the time (b/w getting and getting the OPT approved for the remaining period) I will be out of status.to avoid this i opted for H1-B.
