H-1B Extension?

Hi guys,
I applied for my H1B extension after my first 3 years. I was expecting the extension for another three years and I have received it for only a year and a half? is this usual.Do I have to apply for extension again after a year and a half?

I\'d appreciate any resonses.

In the application you would specify from and to dates. I have a feeling you/your lawyer might have made a mistake.

   I applied for my H1-B extension on Feb 5th, I haven\'t recvd the reciept yet. How long does it take to get the reciept and how long for the approval?

Hi, I filed my 485, 765 (work permit) and 131 (parole). Applications recd at NSC on 3/1/01 per USPS. I have not recd any notification as yet from NSC on the processing of these applications. My present H1 expires on 4/20/01 (extendable thru Dec 2001). The LCA was faxed using the new format on 3/12/01 and have not received the approval as yet. What are my options at this time? Please advise (modepalle@yahoo.com). Thank you.
