H-1B extension or EAD? Will it affect my parents' future visiting?

Hi,

My H-1B is going to be expired(6yr limit) next May. And I plan to invite my parents to visit me early next year. If I use EAD next year, will my new status affect my parents applying for the visas? Or the only option for me is to apply for the H-1B extension?

It does not matter at all. Just suggest your parents to take their Bank Statements with them. If they are retired and drawing pension then those letters or if employed then employment letters. Also suggest them to take copies of property papers.
The only thing the people issuing the visas want to make sure that your parents will return back to India.
