I am on H-1 that is sponsored by a University ( a quota independent H-1). I got a regular H-1, which is counted in 2004's quota, thru a consulting company. I am still working at the university, never used my new H-1. Now I found a better opportunity with another consulting company that is ready to transfer my H-1.
My quesiton is: Is it possible to transfer my University H-1 to this second firm without having actually worked on the regular H-1 and without having any paystubs with regular H-1?
If it is a possibility, could that affect my Green Card processing in future?
