H 1 Visa Stamping Problem

WARNING
Those trying to go for Visa Stamping in Canada or some place else must be careful . I am stranded in Ottawa along with several others for the last five days from April 10TH,2007 till further notice. US consulate's computer system is down and passports can not be returned till their system is repaired.
We lost non-refubdable air tickets and facing unwanted expenditure . Employers are fuming.

Oh my god. Even I'm planning to go to Canada in the near future. But looks like I might want to change my mind and re think on getting over there.

My employers have a good history of getting stampping, and that way i'm not too worried, however, i'm concerned though.
