H-1 transfer with Vermont Service Centre

My lawyer has applied for my H-1 transfer with Vermont Service Center on Jun 03, 2002. Also my family is in India right now and they when to India during second week of Apr 2002, and they have visa till Apr 2004 of my previous employer, and the previous employer did not can cel my H-1, and I didn't apply for H-4 transfer as I applied H-1 transfer after they left USA. The visa with previous employer is valid tilol Apr 2004.


1.How long does it take for H-1 transfer with Vermont service Centre.

2. Is it possible to bring my family back with the old stamping, or should wait till I get my H-1 transfer or till I get my new stamping with new employer.

This case is similar to your's.

It is taking anywhere from 120-150 days for H1- H1 at VSC.

As of now March cases are under process. You can calculate as to how long will it take for your case , also for better idea ,check Visa Tracker for approved cases.
