H-1 Transfer while visiting India - Urgent

Hi..

I had a question for all.
I have applied for a h1 transfer wth premium processing which takes 15 days. But i need to travel to india before that, so i might not get my i-797 approval notice by then.

I was planning to get a friend of mine get my i-797 notice when it comes & fedex it to me to my place in India, that way i would have it on my way back. Does anyone see any issue with this?

No problem if everything works perfectly as planned but assuming you got a RFE or mail got lost, You may be in trouble if your old visa is expiring while you are in India
