H-1 stamping in Europe

Hi,

I am planning to visit Europe in May 2006. I need to get my H-1 visa stamp. I was wondering if its safe get the stamp from any country in Europe and if so whats the safest place to get the stamping done.

I completed my MS in US and I am currently working for a n IT consulting company. I have all my paper work in order and I have been living in US since 2002. I hope my background and the fact that I have been living here will make things easier.

what about fresh H1 stamping??

Hi,

My cousin H1 papers are approved for this year qouta and he recently went to Paris for 3months on his companies work. Can he get H1 visa stamping in france, if he attends in france??

I believe there is a requirement that if you are a foreign national in europe, you should have lived/worked/studied/etc. legally in any of the Schengen countries for atleast six months before you can apply for US visa at the consular posts in these countries. Make sure to check with the specific consulate before planning the trip. Good Luck.
