H-1 / H-4 visa issue

hello all

My wife had an application for a H-4 visa filed with the INS. She received the notice of action. Right after that she found an employer who sponsored her H-1 B visa. Her visa was approved. So, in order to withdraw her H-4 visa, we sent in a written request. Today I checked the status of her H-4 and its approved. So, the problem is that she has approvals for two different visa categories. Does anyone know what would happen now. Would the INS look at oor letter and withdraw her H-4 or will they cancel her H-1 and change her status to H-4?

I am totally ignorant as to how they deal with such a situation. Any help on this query would be greatly appreciated.

------ It is simple , what is LAST action from USCIS? if H4 was extended recently then she has H4 if her H1B or COS was approved AFTER H4 then she has H1B, last action rules you need to check the approval dates on H4 and H1 approval date.
I dont know if H4 was filed as extension or H1B was filed asChange of status from H4 to H1B
