H-1 Extention

Hi,

I applied for a H1-B extension. It was received by INS on June 20, 2002. I haven't heard anything yet. My lawyer says not to worry. Is this delay normal ? I'm worried.

ND----------- 7/20/2002

AT VSC ITS A NORMAL PROCESSING . RIGHT NOW ITS TOTAL 102 DAYS BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY FROM INS :confused:


DOES ANY BODY HAS APPROVAL FROM INS VCS AFTER JULY 19,2002. PLEASE REPLY ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Hi guys,

How soon can one apply for H1B Extension before the H1B expiry date? My H1B expires in April, 2003. I would like to know how soon can I apply?

You can apply any time from now. But make sure you get the receipt Date before the current H1B expiry.

Can someone please let me know what documents do I need for an H1 extension? Apart from documents is there anything else that needs to be done for H1 extension. Thanks.
 
H-1 transfer related question

How much time is it taking lately for getting a receipt notice in hand?

Currently I am on a H1 with one employer. I intend to work for another soon. I-129 is being filed. I understand that a receipt notice all that takes for the new employer to let me work officially. Can any one tell me how long it is taking for the VSC to mail and for us to receive hardcopy notices, lately.

If anybody has just received an approval recently .. Can you
please post your Notice Dates and Approval Dates ?? And
also if the process was premium or regular ?
