H-1 Cap Issue

Hi,
I am presently in OPT period and working for a Company in MD. My OPT expires in July. My Employer had just made it on the wire by submitting my H-1 papers to INS on 17th Feb. But still I am not sure of whether i will get my H-1. In the worst case if dont get my H-1, do I have to leave the country after my OPT expires or can I continue to work.

You can certainly stay and work till the expiration of your OPT.
