H-1 application cancellation?

My wife came to US on H-4 and we have applied for H-1 a month ago through a consulting company (consulting company has paid the filing fees & also the lawyers fees). Looking at job situation around, we have decided to withdraw our H-1 application.

What's the procedure and any suggestions would help greatly.

You or your wife can not withdraw the petition as it is filed by the employer. Employer can withdraw it talk to employer or his lawyer.
