And how is it exactly easy to get permanent residency there for US citizens? You have to qualify, and depending on the OP's age, might not be easy to do. Also, the OP did not say how he is going to support himself and his wife in a third country. Capital gain? Many Indians buy a bunch of houses and then live off of rental income. If a person has a specific profession and a job in one country, it is very hard to just move because he got tired of the current country.Canada or Australia?
