I recieved THE e-mail today :) .It says...

"On March 15, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

I recently did my FP2 code 1 on 3/9/06. I received the update on my spouse only though. How soon would the cards be ready, any ideas?

I got the same message from USCIS this morning. My 1-485 was approved on March 16,2006.

landery..I can see your Rd is sep 2004 how about your PD...?

My I-140 was approved on 8/4/2004. I can not remember the RD (Aug ?,2002).

I did nothing about Name Check, just waiting. Called USCIS (TSC) in this Feb. and they told me my name check was pending.

TSC seems to have started working now..hope they continue to approve pending cases...I am hoping that FBI-name check people also come out of their hibernation and start working on long pending cases!

Thank you all...Really feels good to be free from h1bondage. When I enquired with USCIS they sent me a letter stating that my case was stuck in the background check.

I did'nt do much after that for name check.

Wish you all a happy HOLI!! and good luck for you all's fast approvals.
