Gurus,

My wife who is in H4 got H1b approved valid from Oct 1st. Now she is in US. For her to work from Oct, does she need to go out of the country and stamp the PP with H1b visa? Please advice (:

why dont you post her full details?
was she out of US when her H1 was filed?
was she in US on H4 and employer filed her H4 to H1 Change of status while she was on H4?
did she get I-94 attached with her H1 approval notice (lower Right side of approval notice)

if her H1 approval notice has I-94 attached then she can start working from Oct. if her H1 Approval notice does not have I-94 attached then she need to go out get H1 visa and enter on H1 status to work on H1 status . ( i hope her H1 will have I-94 attached)
