485 was approved on 1st of december, I got fingerprint appointment notice today. This is the notice to appear at commerce street, Newark.

The notice does not talk anything about the passport stamping.
Should I assume that the passport will be stamped when I go there or do I have to follow some additional steps.

The notice date is 26th december, should I book a ticket for outside travel for 27th December.

Please help.

It is not Card

Once you give FP, it will take about 2-4 weeks to receive the physical card.
With out card you can not travel. If you really want to travel, then you have to take 485 approval notice and schedule appointment to get your passport stamp.
Normally FP center (for finger print) and Immigration office (for visa stamping) are different offices.

Thank you sudh,
now a days, do they easily stamp the passport or make any fuzz about it.
Do I have to bring any documents with me.
