My employer didnot allow to apply for EAD, now I wish to apply and will my Employer or the Atty. know if I apply for the EAD by myself?

Julyi485 -> Something is wrong. I have never heard a case where employer has refused to apply for EAD.
Why don\'t you talk to your HR fearlessly. What is the reason for not applying?
I think one can not get iEAD without filing I-765 in the first place.
Instruction for filing I-765 are given on the web neatly.

They assume I might leave the company if I have EAD, they allowed spouse to apply not primary applicant.
I am having a good offer but they need EAD and would not want to apply for H1B.
I can pull the thread for another 2 months to 3 months.Hope I get my GC approved by then atleast

But, I am in a state that I canot really do much on my end.
