Hi I sent my RFE on May 3 and the AVM has updated to case transferred to Philadelphia for interview. Why do I get this message and what does this mean?????

I am really sorry to hear this...I don\'t mean to say that this transfer means trouble to your case...please don\'t think that way...

I just wanted to convey my frustration with INS...why would they ask for an RFE, and THEN transfer your case? it just doesn\'t make sense...
and that too after waiting so loooong...

What was your RFE about? Is yours a NIW case? (I have seen a few NIW cases being transferred over to local INS offices...that too after RFE\'s)...

I would suggest that you go to Philly INS after a couple of weeks...and see what they say...also, contacting your local senator might help as well...

Please contribute on the existing thread if you find out anything about
Philly INS timelines/procedures etc. If your attorney has any views
post those as well. There are 2 of us already in the same boat and
all that we know is already posted there. Let us keep the discussion
going.
