Gurus:

If one got H1B extesnion for three years using approved I-140 and later his I-485 was not approved then what will be the status of H1B extension?

If I have EAD can I request my employer for three year extension using approved I-140, is there any advantages?

I don't plan to use EAD, but my employer want to know why we need H1B extension (03 years using approved I-140) if we have EAD. I am trying to tell them that if I have H1B extension filed for 3 years using I-140 approval then any problem with my I-485 still I am in valid status (H1B) for next 3 years.

Can you please confirm.

My point is H1B extenssion (three years) was approved using pending GC when there is a problem with I-485 how the extension is valid?

Why not? If petition is still valid, go out of country, get visa stamp and enter in H1 status.
