I along with my wife got our H1 stamped recently . Althou my company is willing to send me soon , my wife's company is still waiting for projects. So no idea when they would be sending her.
Do you think she can still come to US based on this H1 visa and then get a transfer to a company which can put her on a project in US .
Or should I just get her on a H4 and then search for a new job and based on that apply for a new H1 .
The other problem is that my company is saying that my wife can join me only after 2 months on a H4 ie they can apply for H4 only later because of new stricter H1 guidelines. (They seem to be taking me for a ride.) Is their any truth in this.
