GURU's PL ADVICE : Sent n-400 to VSC 6/14 no reciept yet, check cashed 6/21

N-400 recieved in VSC on 6/16, cehck cashed on 6/21 no reciept yet, do I have to worry ? Sicne I will be on three week vacation in August I am hoping to get the FP's done before that.
I read a thread some time back (cant locate it now) that the number on the back of the cashed check is the case #, it is a long string starting ESC......V...
I Also forgot to add the $70 check for FP, sent later via ordinary mail.
The address given on the USCIS web site for VSC may have changed since my FED EX Was routed to a different address had to pay extra $30. Has someone else observed this ?

You can call National Customer Center and ask your Case #. I did that and it was fine. They gave me the # over the phone. Anyway I received the NOA and FP letters a few days later. It takes usually like 4-5 weeks from the moment they get your checks cashed until you get your notifications.

If you sent the FP check later, you'll get the FP letter a little later too. Expect the NOA first and probably FP appoinment notification a few weeks apart.
