Gurus - odd personal situation - can an individual delay processing?

Hello,
My 140 has been applied for in Feb 02 at the TSC and I will apply for CP. Now I would dearly like my interview (if I ever get to that stage!) to be no earlier than May or June 2003.

Do I have any control in my hand to keep the application rolling yet meet my requirements for dates?

Go for AOS

Have you thought about going for AOS instead? You should be done around May \'03 if you file for it now.
 
Why you want to delay at I-140 stage?

TSC takes about one year to process I-140. Better let it go. You have plenty of opportunities to delay it at CP stage, say you can postponse sending back packet 3. If NVC does not receive it, your case will not be going anywhere.
