Gurus Help - H1b revalidation

Iam planning to go india this month and plan to go for revalidation of my H1b in chennai (got to go due to family emergency). I got my first h1b stamped in mexico and second time at DOJ, so this will be the first time i will get stamped in india.

I have been working for a big firm for the last 4 years and my visa is valid till june 2005.

Do i need to go for an interview as this is the first time in indie or is drop box okay? Any tips on getting the revalidation easily?

do you recommend me to go to canada or mexico if possible?

try to get an appointment using www.ttsvisas.com (dont hit the final submit button) , If you are eligible for drop box then it is smoother...

since i have never got the H1-B stamping done in india, will it make me eligible for using drop box
