Around 4 month ago, they (BCIS) told me that they are doing security checks on me (for I-485). yesterday they said they are doing FBI name checks. Are these the regular steps in this process? if yes, how many more steps are involved? Has anyone gone through the same process as me? any comments/advice will be appreciated.
