I was hired by company as Position X with a certain salary. During employment, salary was increased but no H-1 amendment was filed. Now I am opting for CP. Is this going to be problematic issue during CP.
I read at some place that it is essential to file for H-1 amendment if salary increases for the same position.
In my case when I was hired on H-1, my salary was X. It was increased to Y and no H-1 amendment was filed. Also,it is still few hundred dollars less than that mentioned on Green Card LC application. I will get letter mentioning required salary for CP. Is this OK.
