hi

I found your msg which states:
=========================================
I also asked the officer about my case transfer.

She said it will take 3 to 6 months to get my interview date.
I posted my change of address to INS. It reached INS 3rd day after posting the address change letter. But the address is not changed in my case. She said that is not a problem. Since they have updated with new address request change, INS will refer to the new address to send any letters. I don't know why they are not showing up immediately. Guys my suggestion is don't change your address often that will take your case approval a longer time.
==========================================

Here is my question as to "3 to 6 months"
Which one is correct ?? (1)? (2)? (3)? or (4)?
(1) 3 - 6 months "from now" to receive the "interview-call letter"
(2) 3 - 6 months "from now" to have your "interview"
(3) 3 - 6 months "from case transfer date" to receive the "interview-call letter"
(4) 3 - 6 months "from case transfer date" to have your "interview"

thanks.

You must really believe INS on their words !!
None of it makes any difference much. As it can be 1month to 1 yr. Who knows. The pattern as you say is not very strictly followed to the minutest possible details...
