Guiedance needed to follow Packet 3 in Mumbai consulate !!

My packet 3 reached Mumbai consulate on 14th Jan 2002..I called up yesterday to find out what date have they entered my information in the system ..got a lady on the phone she took the case number and asked my name i gave her the reqd information ..she said u will get some packet in the mail and we dont give such information and hung up....did anyone had similar experience.....i guess i have seen this column filled by lot of people on CPtracker.com...shall i try again and how important is this date...
 
phone number needed

can you please pass on the the phone number that you used to reach the consulate and the time when you called.

everytime i call the consulate - no one seems to be picking uup the phone.

please help.
