Guidelines to use AC21.. ??

Need your opinion on this issue.

Is BCIS really looking at the job nature before adjudicating 485 cases for AC21 case people?

I find it hard to accept that everyone using AC21 is getting a job of similar nature (that complies with the labor certificate) in the later company. So, I am getting a feeling that a Comparable position in the later company PASSES BCIS test for using AC21. Eg: IT professional in Walmart or IBM is presumed to have same job description.

What do you think? Software Engineer in Telecom industry same as software engineer in bio-chem industry, as far as AC21 is concerned?

Similar and comparable are pretty darn close to split hairs.

You are right about the definition of software engineer, assuming you are working with a telecom company and change jobs, it is not that you need to get a job in another telecom company with the same job profile, instead if you get a job as a software engineer working on the same technology with the same job title (which is surprisingly more important than anything else), you should be okay.

BTW, I do not exactly know how my job description was submitted (back inthose good old days, when we did not bother to look into those) .. If I need to know that .. which documents can give me that info ..

Basically, what docs should I ask my lawyer to know that..
