Guidance on L2 EAD

Hi,
My spouse is working for an Indian MNC in the US on L1B. I am working in India for the same Indian MNC as my spouse. My L1B and H1B got rejected recently. So I would like to travel to US on L2 visa and work there with a EAD.
Can anyone please tell me:
1. if I need to resign my current position in my company before I go to US and work?
2. Or can I go on long leave to US and work there on EAD. If I go on long leave and apply for EAD will my employer come to know about it?
3. is there any chance I can work for the same Indian MNC in the US in L2? Will my employer let me work in US in L2?

A1: Irrelevant
A2: I do not understand the issue here. You want to work for your current employer once you get your EAD. So why do you care if they find out when you get your EAD?
A3: You cannot work on your L-2 status until you get your EAD. Once you get it, it makes no difference to USCIS whom you work for.

Actually my question was whether my current Indian employer will let me work in L2 visa in US? I have not asked my supervisor yet. Just wanted to confirm before I ask him.
So, as of now I have NO confirmation from my current Indian employer that I can work in US in L2. I have to search a new job once I get EAD.
My primary question will my current employer accept me in US in L2 visa?

You cannot work for your current (or any) employer just on L2. As simple as that. You will need to wait until your EAD comes through

My final question will be: Once i get a EAD on L2, can I work for my current employer (Indian MNC) in US? Will they consider me as their Indian employee on deputation in US?
In other words, upon my return to India after working in L2 EAD for the Indian MNC in US, can I continue to work in the same MNC in India?

Can i get a job as a software developer/programmer in L2 EAD in US in the current market situation? how good is the IT market in US?

Also I read somewhere that the USCIS has removed a section (a.18) in the EAD online application in their website in November 2010. Will it anyway affect future EAD applications?

Can I work from home from US for my current employer in India payroll in L2 till I get my EAD?
Once I get my EAD can i start working on the US payroll of the same employer?
