Hi,
As per the visa bulletin, my number should be current either this month or next month. I am a current student, with my exams finishing in November. However, I have plans which oblige me to be in China for November-mid-February, with classes beginning again in March. This does not give me any time to travel to the US to activate my green card, within the six months allowed.
I was wondering if I could perhaps detour through Guam, and have Guam count as my Port of Entry. As Guam is US territory and immigration is controlled by the INS, would this be sufficient to activate the green card?
Thanks
