Please update FP Scheduled for 3/30 at Oakland
FP done on 3/5 at San Jose.
Total wait time plus FP was 1 hr.

Early FP experience at Oakland

I posted a response to another such query ( please search for madman)
Anyway...unless you have a solid ( medical and not \'travelling\' reasons ) you WILL be denied early FP....my $0.02

I was there at about 10:30 am. Had to drive about 1/2 block to find parking. Notice that the BART on Telegraph was within walking distance. When I signed in at the reception, I was given a number on a white card. There were about 12 people ahead of me with blue cards. They called me right away...I have no idea what that was about (it didn\'t have anything to do with medical reason...seems to me like people are there for many other reasons )

Prior to FP, they scanned my FP notice and that brought up my info from the INS database. I was asked to validate spelling, phone number and address.(My wife wasn\'t given this option...but you could ask ) I was told that the INS database was updated to reflect that I had completed FP. This will generate a notice in 2 weeks. So...I don\'t see why you can\'t get it done at ANY ASC.

If I were you...I would head to San Jose.

early fp done, but FBI didn\'t receive it after two days.

we did early fingerprint at San Jose at 3/6, I just called FBI today, but they said they didn\'t receive it yet. Is it normal? Please share your experience. Thanks.

What all documents are needed?
Why some folks are going to San Jose for FP when scheduled for
Oakland? convenient location for commute? For me, Oak and SJ
have same commute time. So, I will probably go to Oakland unless
anyone can provide me a reason. Please respond.

Early FP done at San Jose...

Hey pcman...

Well I had to do my FP at Oakland, but reading what people had to say about their experiences at Oakland for early FP, I decided to go to San Jose and it was a breeze. So if you are going for early FP, location matters... else go to the Oakland.

You need passport or DL along with the notice.

In most of the cases Oakland didn\'t allow early FP, where as in San Jose almost all the times they allowed it without asking a question that\'s why...

Thanks for the info. I am not going for early FP, So, I will go to
Oakland on scheduled date. Will keep you posted once FP is done.

Finger Printing

I did Fp in SJC on 3/5. Called FBI today.
They said that they returned the results to
INS for self on 5/11 and 6/11 for spouse.

Anyone with same situation. Worried that
spouse\'s FP might have been rejected.

If I was scheduled to do the FP in oakland, what should I do in case of doing it in San Jose as you suggested? should I reschedule it?
