Please add any new CSC I-485 approvals to this thread. Post only approvals to this thread so that it can be used (kind of data/summary tracking) to see recent approvals.

If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post.

Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from CSC I-485 approvals)in this thread so that we can keep it lean.

Hi Guys,
My I-485 was finally approved and I have also had my passport stamped. I-485 was approved on May 20, 2002 for both my wife and I. Went to the Sacramento INS office and got the passport stamped in about an hour and half.
My information is as follows:
Receipt#: WAC 01 295-5xxxx
Mail Date : September 6, 2001
Receipt Date : September 10, 2001
Notice Date : September 26, 2001
EAD in about 82 days
AP in about 60 days
Fingerprint Date : December 17, 2001 (Went early on 11/29)
Approval Date : May 20, 2002

Thanks to one and all especially rsgc, pcee for their invaluable support. I think the INS should learn from these individuals. I donot know if I am in pcee\'s list.

After 4 yrs of which 2 yrs were spent waiting for 140, our 485 was approved. Called the IIO yesterday and she said it was approved on Jun 2nd Sunday!!. I guess it took INS to work a little extra to get my case going ;-)

  Just heard on the AVM that the case has been approved. It was a long and frustrating wait. The only saving

This site has been very helpful and my thanks to everyone who contribute their opinions. Also I am going to do "Follow-to-Join" to my wife in Chennai Consulate. Has anyone done this before please help me on this.

To the waiters i would like to wish their speedy approval. Hang-in guys I know it is frustrating particularly if others who have filed after you get approved. Just hang-in

Hello Everyone,
I had an interview at San Jose, CA yesterday. It was an EB2 category application. Both my wife an myself were approved.

Here are the details:
We wait for around 20 minutes before we are called in.
The officer swore us in.
Officer to me: Please state DOB.
Me: yyyy/mm/dd
Officer: May I see a current letter of employment
Me: okay ( and I showed him my letter of emloyment ). My company was acquired after my I140 approval, but before filing of AOS. My lawyer explained that the job description/ responsibility and location are the same; only the job title has changed.
Officer: May I see your tax returns for the last 3 yrs?
Me: I have filed electronically but I have the IRS return and account transcripts for the last three years. That was acceptable to the officer.
Officer: When did you last enter US? What was your status?
Me: MM/YYYY & H1.
Officer:I am going to approve you.
Officer asks for my EAD and parole wants to know if I have ever used it. I say no. He stamps my passport.

Basically similar questions for my wife. The only difference was that he asked for a copy of the marriage certificate. Her passport is stamped too. We are out in 20 minutes.

Details:
EB2, CSC.
Labor (RIR):
Filed: 22/08/2000, approved 23/11/2000 ( with an RFE ).
I-140:
Filed: 01/05/2001 approved 07/03/2001 ( with an RFE ).

I was then waiting for packet3 for CP. In the meantime my company is acquired. Lawyers advise me to switch to AOS. Since for CP, I have to wait for approval of I140 amendment. But for AOS, both can run in parallel.

I485:
Filed: 11/23/2001, approved 06/11/2002

Finger printing was done (03/29/02) 3 wks before actual appointment date (4/19/2002 ). No questions were asked.

Interview letter was issued on 4/16/2002.

I140 amendment ( to change employer name ):
Filed: 11/19/2001. RFE received 04/19/2002. Response sent mid-may. Approval pending.
