It's all over for me and my family, people. My wife and two daughters also got approved on April 6.
Some light on a couple of issues that have been discussed in these fora:
1. After applying for AOS, I did not file form I-539 for my daughters at any stage, even though my H1B was renewed a couple of times.
2. I did contact a Congressman's office for intervention in Oct 2003, and it had at worst a marginal impact on the process, and possibly more than that.
3. After my case was approved, I took to checking online status two or three times a day; yesterday I checked at around 2 PM and the three cases had not been approved. At about 9 PM they had been, so the mystery of when the status gets updated still remains unresolved.
