I am a LPR and I filed a petition for my husband in 2017. We did the interview this year and 2 months later he got the green card approved. The greencard was mailed to the lawyer's office according to the tracking provided by USCIS. Our lawyer suggested to use the address of her office to receive the card and the other documents because it was "safer", so we followed her advice. Turns out that she claims the greencard was never received at her office, she tried to convince us that we sent it to another address, but the confirmation by USCIS proved her wrong. She claimed there was a new mail guy, that she does not know what happened. She said she filed an inquiry but so far we haven't had any response from her, that was in October. USCIS case status updated that they sent a response to the inquiry a month ago. She is not replying to our mails or calls. I am really frustrated and desperate because this is serious, I don't trust her anymore.
