My father and mother got their GC approved based on the family filings done by my aunt. Now in 1996 my father stayed in US on visitor visa for more than 6 months.
Due to this, my father's GC got rejected and my mother got her GC. Now they came to know from embassy that my father can apply for his GC after my mother comes to US and gets her physical GC, under some wavier act.
I am not able to find any such infomrtaion on this. If any one of you know about this, please pass on the information on what needs to be done and your experiences.
