Green Cards forhusband and kids of sponsored sister

Hi,
My sister in laws sister (US Citizen) sponsored my sister in law for GC nine years ago. Recently, they found out that her case has been approved. My sister in law at the time of her immigration petition was unmarried. My question now is that since her case has been approved, does my brother and their kids (ages 5 and 8) automatically qualify for the GC. Would it cause any problem as they never notified INS of the marriage and kids.
I would appreciate it if any of the knowledgeable people on this forum can clear shed some light on it and clear some confusions.

Thanks

you can send a copy of the marriage certificate and copies of kids' birth certificates to either the Service center where the form was pending, or to NVC if the USCIS transferred the form there, with a cover letter amending the case. IN any case, when the immigrating sister gets her DS-230, she will need to include all of her derivatives at that time, and go to the interview together.
