Happy Canada Day, Woo Hooo!!!!!

The ONLY reason we moved back to Canada is Family. If I had to work at my crappy job that I had to drive 80 miles each way to get to for another 6 months to stay in the US, I would have. BUT........we have an 8 year old daughter who moved down with us when she was 3 who misses family VERY much!! When people ask me who I work for, I say Family, not the company I work at.

If I could donate my spot to one of you, I would! We will stay in Canada, where our hearts want to be. We may travel into the US for the winters when we retire.

I plan to call USCIS and tell them to cancel our cards. I know, this seems VERY evil to most of you. And given the HOURS I worried about it, it does to me as well. But don't you think there was a reason we moved back to Canada JUST IN TIME to have our cards approved?? Or better put, if we would have been in the US when they were approved, we would NOT have moved back! Our poor Daughter AND Families!!

Good luck to you all!!!

Robin, not in Redfield

stay put with the decision

Robin -

Do not change the decision. Family comes first. Its good and bold that one takes a bold decison like this.

Green card becomes sour grapes - when it takes too long and too much of a pain to get.

At times, i think , that i should hv also left the country when i lost m yjob while on H1b, several years ago. May be i would have settled in life, better health and not missed friends, family, near and dear... and no worries.
