Green card to married daughter

my dad applied for green card petition for married daughter around november 2008.
with in a week he received the application received letter and today he received the letter

i enetered my receipt number in the usics data base it is on Post-Decision Activity. i am in michigan received letter from california service center. applying petition for my sister in chennai india.

based on my above information when can my sister, her husband and her 2 children get her green card (how many days)
today received letter

Approval of the immigrant petition is only the first stage. To advance to the final stage, they have to reach her priority date (November 2008) but now they are at May 2001 for most countries in the 3rd preference category (married sons and daughters of citizens). Did your dad get an approval letter? If yes, the case will be forwarded to NVC and it will sit there until the priority date of the petition becomes current.
Right now, in the same category as your sister (US Citizen filing for married son/daughter, FB3), application filed before June, 2001 are current. Based on that, you are looking at 7 years wait time.
