Green Card through uncle

HI

My uncle is US citizen and been in US for 30 years, My grandmother took her Green Card 6 years ago. Both My uncle and grandmother applied for my parents for Green Card.

The file which has been opened through my uncle is due to 20 months later

But the file through my grandmother is coming up and US immigration will probably call my parents but the thing is my grandmother passed away

I am wondering if my parents can get GC or this file will be cancel and they need to wait till the other one which is trough my uncle?

if anybody had the same circumstances or know anything, please reply

Your grandmother petitioning for your parents is NOT the same as your uncle petitioning for them.

That depends on whether the I-130s your grandmother sponsored are still pending or have been approved.

yep thoese are 2 different aplication codes, but you guys will jus have to wait and see what the immigration is gona do in that case. that is a difficult one, but i'm sure thay have policies for that you, best your parents can do is to call and get updates on both aplications.
